.Sh DESCRIPTION
The
.Nm
command attaches the Berkeley Fast File System on the
.Ar special
device on to the file system tree at point
.Ar node .
.Pp
The
.Nm mount_ufs
form of the command is meant for backward
compatibility only.
Fast File Systems should no longer be listed as type
.Dq ufs
in
.Xr fstab 5
and instead should be listed as type
.Dq ffs .

This command is invoked by
.Xr mount 8
when using any of the following syntax:
