Changes since 1.8: +104 -20 lines
Remove STRSPACE limitations.
A bit wasteful, but not too intrusive.
Also remove pushback buffer limitations, as this would be mostly useless
otherwise.
Incidentally, pushback buffer overflow detection in pbstr was wrong.
