Revision 1.48, Mon Sep 4 11:35:11 2023 UTC (8 months, 2 weeks ago) by espie
Branch: MAIN
CVS Tags: OPENBSD_7_5_BASE, OPENBSD_7_5, OPENBSD_7_4_BASE, OPENBSD_7_4, HEAD
Changes since 1.47: +1 -2 lines

GC old code that was originally implemented to facilitate adoption by
other BSDs, which never happened, so make things simpler for further
development.

Ditches config.h entirely since it gets reduced to 2 defines.

 * For statements are of the form:
 *
 * .for <variable> [variable...] in <varlist>
 * ...
 * .endfor
 *
 * The trick is to look for the matching .end inside .for loops.
 * To do that, we keep track of the nesting level of .for loops
 * and matching .endfor statements, accumulating all statements between
 * the initial .for loop and the matching .endfor,
 * then we evaluate the .for loop for each variable in the varlist.
