                     50: utility when invoked with the pathname of a symbolic link as its
                     51: argument dereferences the symbolic link and prints the name of target
                     52: on standard output.  If readlink is invoked with an argument other
                     53: than the pathname of a symbolic link it exits with a non-zero exit
                     54: code and without printing anything.
