           <p>2.9 (current as of July 2001) basically works fine except for
           halt -p, which doesn't power off.
   
           <p>apm -z only puts the system into light sleep
           (this may be fixable with phdisk); apm -s does nothing.
   
           <p>XFree86 4.0 using the S3 savage driver works fine at 1024x768.
           1200x1024 should be possible but I haven't tried it.
           My XF86Config for XFree86 4.0 may be found

           <p>Sound works nicely as yds, ac97 and audio0.
   
           <p>USB is detected but haven't tested it yet.
   
           <p>All three cardbus slots are configured when docked (two when undocked).
           Sometimes locks up when removing my cheap NE card.
   
           <p>The internal WinModem is not supported, nor is there yet
           any support for Firewire or the "Jog Dialer".
