[GERMAN] "We don't do politics, we write software", c't 13/03, p. 106.
! An interview with Theo - over two pages, he talks about the DARPA funding
! story, explains the importance of the hackathons and how the 2003
! hackathon was different from the past ones that had a "mission",
! like replacing ipf with pf at the Boston hackathon. Opposed to that, this
! year's hackathon didn't hava a mission, but rather around 20 teams working
! on different projects and forming new teams later to attack other problems.
! He describes a "very complex and intense climate" and points out
! that support for AMD Hammer, UltraSPARC III, SMP and Mozilla was done.
! Theo also talks about the DARPA funding cut and it's effects - basically
! that funding will work like it did before the grant, through
! CD, T-Shirt and Poster sales as well as donations.
! Asked about Linus Torvald's role in Linux Theo desribes his role in OpenBSD
! as a "friendly dictator" who is involved in all major
! decisions.
! A further topic is, naturally, security. Theo points out that an absolutely
! secure system would imply a bugfree system and thus is not possible, and
! briefly explains ProPolice and W^X. A small followup article focusses on the
! basics of ProPolice and W^X.
