This is the third (and final?) report on this topic from Globe & Mail
reporter David Akins, the first of which caught the eye of US officials
in the first place. Quotes DARPA spokeswoman Jan Walker seemingly
   back-pedalling:
"As part of our standard process, we are reviewing and evaluating
the work now being done and proposed to be done in the future," she
said in an e-mailed statement. "We're sorry if this review process
has been misinterpreted as an effort to cancel the work."
<br/>Is this the same DARPA that ordered UPenn not to spend
   another penny on "the work"?
