OpenBSD/beagle

OpenBSD/beagle is a port of OpenBSD to the Omap3/4 and am335x systems using an ARM Cortex-A8 or Cortex-A9 CPU.

Current status

The current target boards are the original BeagleBoard and newer xM models, as well as PandaBoard, PandaBoard ES, BeagleBone, and BeagleBone Black. There are still a fair number of things to do on each of these boards. The platform is now self hosting, however there is no SMP support. Networking is working on the PandaBoard and the BeagleBone.

• omgpio(4) GPIO controller.
• ommmc(4) SD/MMC controller.
• Most USB devices, see usb(4) for a list.

Projects (in no particular order):

• Add support for the battery-backed RTC.
• Add proper boot support.
• Add SMP for PandaBoard, and PandaBoard ES.
• Add support for the DMA controller.
• Add support for BeagleBone black local storage.
• Add support for USB on BeagleBoard and BeagleBone models.
• EABI.
