The OpenBSD 2.2 release is
available on two CDROMs for $30 USD + postage
(plus any required taxes if you live in Canada).
They are being shipped daily.
The OpenBSD 2.3 release is
expected to start shipping around June 1, 1998. The price is the same
as for the 2.2 release. This package can already be ordered through our
online ordering system.
The OpenBSD 2.2 package includes:
- The complete install components for NINE architectures:
alpha,
amiga,
arc,
hp300,
i386,
mac68k,
mvme68k,
pmax,
sparc.
- The CD's are bootable on i386, sparc, alpha, and arc.
- A funky CD insert sheet which contains much better installation
instructions than OpenBSD 2.1 shipped with.
- A full source tree (ready for AnonCVS use).
- The latest XFree86 binaries for most of the architectures
(all except mvme68k)
- The latest XFree86 source code.
- Our own little ports tree (much like the FreeBSD
ports tree, but smaller).
- CTM bases for tracking CTM afterwards. This includes
a CTM base of the entire OpenBSD CVS repository.
- Two OpenBSD 2.2 stickers included!
- And many other things...
The OpenBSD 2.3 package includes:
- The complete install components for TEN architectures:

information on this piece of paper makes OpenBSD much easier
to install than if you do an FTP install.
- A full source tree (ready for AnonCVS use).
- The latest XFree86 binaries for most of the architectures
(all except powerpc). Unlike OpenBSD 2.2, XFree86 is now significantly
more easy to install.
- The latest XFree86 source code with small modifications
by us to make it prettier.
- Our own little ports tree which has improved a lot
since OpenBSD 2.2.
- A very large archive of distfiles which are used by the
above-mentioned ports tree to build binaries easier.
- The following pre-build binary packages for most architectures, which are
very easy to install directly off the CDROM:

address. Regular post will be used unless special arrangements are
made. Shipping cost is therefore expected to be around $3 - $8 USD
(yes, that is in addition to the base $30 USD price). Packages will
