OpenBSD/armish

OpenBSD/armish runs on various ARM-based appliances, using the Redboot boot loader (and which boot Linux by default).

History:

OpenBSD/armish is the 3rd OpenBSD port to ARM based machines, after cats and zaurus. It is intended to support a variety of rather similar ARM-based machines:

• Certance CP3100
• Thecus N2100
• IO-Data HDL-Gxxx, HDL-GWxxx, and HDL-GZxxx series

Current status:

Development is currently pretty active. The Thecus boots from the network (using TFTP or HTTP, thanks to redboot) and runs multi-user.

Client-side X applications and libraries are available.

Projects (in no particular order):

• Finish the Certance CP3100 support
• Support more devices
• Support for i2c devices on the Thecus
• Redboot flash configuration support
• Native disk boot...
