[OpenBSD]
The OpenBSD project produces a freely available, multi-platform 4.4BSD-based UNIX-like operating system. Our efforts place emphasis on portability, standardization, correctness, security, and cryptography. OpenBSD supports binary emulation of most programs from SVR4 (Solaris), FreeBSD, Linux, BSDI, SunOS, and HPUX.

The current release of OpenBSD is 2.2, available as of December 4 1997. This inexpensive 2-CD set containing support for 9 architectures will boot on i386, sparc, alpha, and arc. To order...
The release of OpenBSD 2.3 is planned for June 1998. For this release to become available on CD, project funding is still a big issue since OpenBSD has no financial backer. Every 2.2 CD that is sold or financial donation makes it easier for us to make a new release.
